Johnson began his career in the field of insurance and investments in 1981. He joined Hilton Painter in 1988, establishing Painter & Johnson Financial.

Johnson specializes in employee benefits, wealth management, estate planning, life insurance and investment planning, helping businesses, families and individuals prepare for their future. He has consistently qualified for the annual National Quality Award and National Sales Achievement Award presented by the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
